Janet Jones-Parker  has been noted as "one of the most influential executive search consultants”  by Business Week and is known as the 'Recruiters' Recruiter."

Janet Jones-Parker is recognized as a pioneer in business, executive recruiting and diversity. As the founder of two successful retained executive search firms, Janet Jones-Parker & Associates (focus - retained search firms and talent acquisition) and Management Woman, Inc., (focus - women on corporate Boards and senior positions in the Fortune 20), she has specialized in bringing strategic business counsel to thought-leaders in search consulting and corporate talent acquisition leaders, always resulting in the hiring of individuals who make a difference to their organizations by meeting short and long-term objectives.

In addition, she was the architect, along with volunteers, of a turn-around of the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC), the global entity representing search consultants. Recruited to assist in re-engineering the organization, the AESC was at its highest level of activity and membership in its history at the end of her tenure.  Its first International Conference in Paris lead to the establishment of today’s global footprint as a thriving force in the profession. 

Janet’s other experience includes the Kenan Institute, Kenan-Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC, where she assisted high potential MBA graduates to work as locals in foreign countries as an early international career experience.  Acting as liaison between this non-profit program and International HR executives in Fortune 500 companies, she created pilot programs in China, South Africa and South America

Janet began her career with TWA as Supervisor In-Flight Services and one of the first of two women in the airline industry to manage men. With approximately 1000 direct reports at age 26, she held a management position one step below Vice President. 

Her business experience is complemented by founding roles in professional women’s' groups such as The Committee of 200; Women in Management, and the International Women's Forum.

Janet has been frequently quoted in the major press via the Associated Press, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, U.S. News and Report, Executive Recruiter News, The Christian Science Monitor, Executive Search Review, Human Resource Executive and an appearance on The Today Show regarding the highest paid positions for women executives.
